Westway Stables has a strong tradition of successfully showing ponies at the very highest level, travelling to several county shows each year. Our clients are also encouraged to compete in shows, such as at the West London Horse Show held annually on Wormwood Scrubs. In 2003, every horse in the ribbons for the 'Best Condition' class at this show was a Westway horse or pony. We also send a team to the London Schools Games.

But rather than starting in public, we offer a regular Westway show (every 6-8 weeks) just for our own clients. These are fun, friendly and relaxed with lots of rosettes. Everyone, child and adult, has a chance to try for themselves with lots of vocal support and help whenever it is needed. There are showing classes and jumping classes - but with an outside judge so it is serious fun designed to help people move on to bigger and grander things if they want. There are also gymkhana games for children - big and small. Refreshments are available through the day.
