Own your own pony for a day!
During school holidays, Westway Stables holds regular Pony Days. This an opportunity for a child to have complete care of a particular pony throughout the day, though always under supervision. It is a chance to interact with a pony one-on-one, to learn about their character and really get to understand them. More than just riding, pony days are an opportunity for the children to learn to handle the pony in the stable, on the ground, to lead them, groom them and even to muck out. The emphasis is on fun and on building confidence and skills.
Pony days are either half days or full days. Usually the programme will include grooming and other aspects of horsemanship, riding tuition, mounted gymkhana games, quizzes and other fun activities.
It costs:
HALF DAY 10am - 1pm : £28.00 FULL DAY 10am - 4pm : £50.00
All our staff are police checked to work with children.
Similar days can be organised for adults who feel they missed out.
